![]() ![]() And it was partly true, but it seems that the creators weren’t brave enough to make her a full-on villain but instead have her working for the mysterious PADRE by stealing people’s children. There were rumors that she would return as a villain. The fans who have long shouted she wasn’t dead since a body or a walker version of Madison was never seen were delighted to learn she would finally be making her way back into the story. Instead of surprising viewers as was done in early seasons of The Walking Dead, her return was announced quite some time ago on an episode of Talking Dead. Madison is like the Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) of this series and fans have longed for her return. Madison Clark, played by Kim Dickens, has been a staple of the series since the pilot episode aired in 2015. The final episode of season 7 of Fear TWD saw the return of a fan-favorite character who was thought dead since season 4. Fear TWD has a much different setting and tone compared to the flagship and, in recent seasons, has taken severe criticisms from its fans. This series began as a spinoff of The Walking Dead series that will be airing its final eight episodes this fall. All that remained were walkers and Alejandro, who - thanks to apparently the slowest-working zombie infection ever - was able to tell Maddie before croaking that her son was headed for the border.By Renee Hansen 3 months ago Follow TweetĪMC aired the season 7 finale of Fear the Walking Dead on June 5. Everyone could be safe! So, ultimately, to lead the colonists across the border, Luci did take off with Nick, leaving behind Alejandro to “die a beautiful death” by driving the bus through the gate to sick the walkers on Marco, Antonio & Co.! Unfortunately, that meant that, by the time Madison, Travis and Alicia followed the clues from Marco’s former HQ to the colonia, Nick was gone. There’s an encampment, he informed Alejandro and Luciana. At the same time, Nick - getting the hell outta Dodge - spotted a chopper just across the border to the US and made a U-turn back to the colonia. Or, as she put it, “Lie to them again before you go.” And by God, he did manage to give a pretty rousing speech. ‘THIS IS NO PLACE FOR BOYS’ | Back at the colonia, Luciana - hoping that faith in a fraud was better than no faith at all - instructed a dying Alejandro to give his flock one last pep talk. And, when Strand says that, you can actually kinda believe him. ![]() ![]() Even then, Victor refused to go with Maddie. ![]() But, before Andres could exact his eye-for-an-eye revenge, Alicia (!) stabbed him, and, with Strand’s help, she, Madison and Travis made it out of the hotel. “Why does he get to walk away?” asked the brother of the deceased. So “I’ll understand when you do it again… We will have to.” After Oscar died in surgery, Hector attacked Travis, and Andres went so far as to pull a gun. I’m worse,” she replied, adding that she’d killed Celia to protect Nick. That night, as Andres was forced to perform brain surgery on Oscar with a box cutter, Travis warned Maddie that he’d changed. “We found this place, and we’ll find another.” Naturally, Maddie asked Strand to come along, but he declined the invitation. Alicia agreed - but, rather than just banish him, they’d leave with him, she suggested. ‘THEY DESERVED IT’ | In Episode 2, “North,” Strand argued that, since Madison had decreed that anyone who raised a hand to somebody else in the hotel would be exiled, she could hardly fight for Travis to stay. ![]()
